Nic Hallanger is the owner / founder of Angerhall Studios, though the name of the studio was created by his spouse Megan who is also a musician featured on many of our recordings at the studio.
Born in 1985 in a small sundown town called Cannon Falls, MN, Nic quickly realized there wasn't going to be enough to keep him busy in a small town when he grew up. Nic moved to the Minneapolis / Saint Paul Metro Area in 2005 at age 20 and has since lived in a number of suburbs around Minneapolis. Nic works as an IT guy by day but spends most of his waking hours trying to do something creative if he can help it.
When performing as a 'solo act', Nic typically plays acoustic guitar, synth/keys, and can sometimes be seen carrying a dozen harmonicas to fill in around other instruments when busking or jamming along with other musicians. Nic will use this space to drop solo songs / projects.
